A Year in Mantels

It's almost January 1st 2012!  Can you believe that?  This year went fast.  So I was taking a tour in blog land and I got some new ideas for a year-end wrap up post.  I'm going to show you a year's worth of mantels.  I often get comments when I post these ideas.  :) I will link the original posts so you can visit or reread older posts for specifics on how I created the look. Welcome to some of my new followers!  Please stay with me as I will be trying to update my blog a little at a time to make it easier for you to read and find things.

Let's start with last Winter.  I 'll be posting another new Winter one soon.

  2. Hi Carey, if you go to picnik you see the option of collage on their main page. I just played around with that and set it to the right size according to my template and bam there it is. I think I have a tutorial under my header on that as well.

  5. How did I miss your Christmas mantel?? I love all the touches of peppermint. :) What a fun post to see your mantel through the past year. Each so lovely!

I have Netflix, so I'm going to search through and see if they have any Pilates videos. I know they have Yoga, which I have tried. I haven't tried Pilates. My chiropractor told me that I need to work on my core and that it probably why I pulled a muscle and pinched a nerve so easily. Going to check it out today. :) thanks!

And for a bleach alternative to your sink, I would definitely try the Shaklee Scour Off. It's an all natural paste made from cherries. A little goes a long way and it smells yummy. Here's the link to it. http://athomewithk.myshaklee.com/us/en/products.php?sku=00430
