Rain, Rain Go Away!

Well, not much going on here but rain. I guess a lot of you are experiencing the same thing. My crop was not too exciting. A lot of prep work and I only had 1 out of 8 people show up. Thanks, Tracey for coming! I will post some pics later of the page I worked on last night. I was able to help her at least get started she had never scrapbooked before. I think it's great when you can help people learn to do something. I guess that's why I'm a teacher. I love learning and teaching others.

Here's my prim finds that I bought a few weeks ago at Gordman's I wanted to share with you. Sometimes those chain stores yield some surprising results.

Stay tuned fellow bloggers! Next week I plan on putting up some new pics of my home and eventually a give away. Have a great weekend!

  1. Sorry to hear about only 1 person for your crop night. But at least you got to show her something new! Doesn't Gordman's have some awesome stuff? I bought a bunch of stuff there the other day, kind of sucks though it being made in China. I was really surprised to see all the stitchery there.

  2. Yes, Brenda I've been trying to be more conscious of what I'm buying and willing to pay more for handmade things. I think it will be better for America in the long run. Plus, I love that someone made things with their own hands.

  3. Carey - Thank you as always for stopping by my blog. I appreciate your sweet comments! You had asked about my pineapple and I wanted to tell you that I ordered it from Kath @ All Things Prim. She lives in PA and hand makes everything. Her website is http://oldeweepingcedarprimitives.blogspot.com
She has tons of great stuff!! The best thing is that she makes it all herself : )

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
