I put one of my little alpine trees on one end and my black shutter as a backdrop, and kept my Christmas snowy greens. Then I added the Lowe's Snowflakes and dollar general pom pom garland. I will have to take pictures of the night look. I buried some little white lights too.
my glittery village and snowman collection
I have two of these snowflake runners and thought the colors in this plate would work well. I bought the candle for 50% off at K-Mart. It smells like yummy vanilla. It looks like a cable knit sweater with a little brown and white ribbon. I just pulled in different things from around the house till I liked the arrangement.
my coffee table, kept this look from the holidays
I hope you're staying warm where you live.

The mantel looks wonderful. I agree with you...everything does look empty. I did a complete makeover of my livingroom/diningroom after taking down all the Christmas. I LOVE it...lol!!! Katie
ReplyDeleteCarey,
ReplyDeleteI love SNOW so seeing SNOWflakes on your mantle is a HUGE hit with me! I adore that you've kept a few SNOWmen out, as well! Mine is still in the entry hall...for now!
Fondly,
Pat
I love the snow flakes on your mantle, how pretty :) It's one thing I can't wait to have when my hubby retires from the military, a house with a fireplace :)
ReplyDeleteWe think alike. I leave up some lights with snowflakes too~~I will soon add some hearts and Valentines. Just makes the winter months a little brighter.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
