Fourth of July...Pie oh my!

I thought I would share a quick post with some recipes I love for the 4th!  If you haven't gotten hooked on Pinterest head on over there are tons of ideas over there for decorating, setting your table, parties and yummy food.  We're heading over to a friends house and I will be sharing our yummy spread soon :)
How about hand pies? These yummy turnovers really fit the bill.





How about some Strawberry Pie?

    I've been seeing "hand pies" in some of my magazine subscriptions. They are certainly catching on...will be waiting to see which ones you've tried and your opinion! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos! Hope your Fourth was blessed!

    I haven't had a apple pie in so long, I might just go buy one and bake it :) I wanted to thank you for your comment on my blog about my daughter starting school this year.. I know that we will both be ok and get through it but just getting to that point is the hardest. Have a good weekend!
